February 24, 2025 (4 PM ET/9 PM GMT): The Palestine Exception (2024) to be screened by Rutgers Law School

Rutgers Law School (US) will do a free virtual screening of the documentary The Palestine Exception (2024) on February 24, 2025 at 4 PM Eastern Time (USA) / 5 PM BOT (Bolivia) / 9 PM Greenwich Mean Time (UK) or Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)/ 11 PM SAST (South Africa). That would be 6 AM JST (Japan) and 2:30 AM IST (India) on February 25.

Co-directed by Jan Haaken and Jennifer Ruth, the documentary is about the protests (and their repression) that unfolded on American college campuses through 2023-2024 to put pressure on the powers-that-be to divest from corporations doing business in Israel and to end its war in Palestine (which started in October 2023 after a brutal incursion by Hamas into the Gaza Envelope).

The documentary deals with the issue of freedom of expression in the United States in relation to Palestine.

The virtual screening will be followed by a discussion.
