Exclusive to Thoughtfox, the following photographs were taken on November 11, 2024, from inside the Pandit Cashinath Kistoe Aryan Vedic Hindu Aided School at Vacoas-Phoenix, Mauritius, while the votes were still being counted for the Year 2024 parliamentary election. The school had served as the counting centre for Constituency 16.

The vote was won in a landslide by the opposition’s Alliance du Changement (Alliance of Change) (ADC), led by former Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam. In the photographs, ADC supporters are the ones wearing red shirts.

The entire election process was completed smoothly and peacefully.
